Environment Install Instruction
Install on boat (with ignition): yellow wire (+12 V DC), red wire (switch), black wire (ground).
Install on spa / home (no ignition): join the yellow and red wire together like "Y" and put it in +12 V DC. Black wire (ground).
Power supply, if needed, must be 12 V DC and 5 A. Available for purchase on our web store.

Q1. How do I adjust my Day/Night mode ?
To switch between Day and Night modes:
1. Press the MENU button to enter the SYSTEM menu.
2. Use the Rotary Knob to locate and enter the THEME option.
3. Use the Rotary Knob to toggle between Day/Night mode.
4. Short press the Rotary Knob to confirm the changes.
Note: The clock display will always be Night mode regardless of the Day/Night mode.
Q2. Which wiring harness can I utilize to connect to the MP5+ Stereo ?
The harness used for this particular stereo is the AQ-UNH-2.
Q3. Which Sirius XM Tuner is compatible with my stereo?
The SXV300V1 and SXV300V2 are compatible Sirius XM tuners for your stereo.
Q4. Can I install the marine model stereo into my Harley Davidson motorcycle ?
The marine stereo has a different connector than our Harley line. Also, if you were to install it in your motorcycle you would not be able to utilize the handlebar controls, so it's important to select the correct model for your needs.
Q5. How do I change the time on the clock or turn the clock ON/OFF?
From the clock settings menu, you can adjust the time or switch the clock to ON or OFF.
To change the time:
Press MENU.
Use the Rotary Knob to navigate to SYSTEM settings, then to CLOCK SETTINGS.
Use the Rotary Knob to adjust and set the time.
Short press the Rotary Knob to confirm the changes.
To switch the clock ON or OFF:
Press MENU.
Use the Rotary Knob to navigate to SYSTEM settings, then CLOCK PRIORITY.
Use the Rotary Knob to select either ON or OFF by short pressing the Rotary Knob to confirm the change.
Q6. Does it have an internal amplifier?
Yes; the internal amplifier will give you a max of 288 W [power (max): 4x 45W (4 Ohms), 4x 72W (2 Ohms)]. The internal amplifier is powered on by default. Turning off the internal amplifier could result in lost or poor sound quality. The stereo works very well with both the external amplifier and internal amplifier powered on.
