  • Radio Frequency This remote uses 2-way, Radio Frequency (RF) technology, providing a range of over 40ft from the receiver (included), and does not require ‘line-of-sight’ control like is required for infrared technology.

  • Charge via USB A USB charging cable (included) recharges the lithium polymer battery by connecting to your Aquatic AV stereo, or other devices with USB connection points (such as a computer or laptop).

  • 6-Series Compatible RF6 easily connects to Aquatic AV 6-Series products including the BLUECUBE6 Series, SWA6 Series, MP6, and CP6.

  • It Floats! The RF6 is designed to float, reducing the risk of losing the remote altogether and eliminating the possibility of sinking to the bottom of the water after an accidental drop.

Environment Installation Instructions

The remote should already be paired from the factory, but if you need to synchronize the remote, follow the steps below:

1. Connect the receiver dongle to the female DIN connector of the Aquatic AV stereo before the stereo is powered ON.

2. Turn the power to the stereo ON and hold the remote control close to the stereo.

3. Press and hold MODE on the remote control until the screen reads “Pairing in Progress”, and then release the button.

4. The remote should display “Paired” within 2 seconds to verify that pairing has been successful. If it fails to pair, the screen will display “Retry Again”. If this happens, wait 5 seconds and repeat the above steps.

A1. No. Unlike traditional remotes that use infrared technology, the RF6 Remote Control uses radio technology so that you can control your sound from anywhere within range of the device (over 40 feet from the included receiver).
