Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Can I use this to power 4 speakers Front and Rear?

A1. Yes, even though the AD300.2 is a 2 channel amplifier, you can still power 4 speakers with it. To do this you can wire them in series and have 2 front speakers on 1 channel and the rear speakers on the other channel. However, doing so may sacrifice some of the sound quality.

Q2. Can I use the AD300.2 if my stereo does not have any RCA cables?

A2. Yes. Besides the RCA option, the AD300.2 also has a high-level input option for you to connect with your system.

Q3. Do I need a mounting bracket for the Aquatic AV 2-Channel Amplifier for Harley-Davidson?

A3. A mounting bracket is something we recommend. We have several mounting kits available for the Road Glide Fairings and Batwing Fairings models. You can also create your own customize mounting bracket; just be sure you can still fit your amplifier.

Please note: Do not mount your amplifier directly on top of the stereo or the stereo’s mounting bracket. Over time, this can damage the stereo with heat transfer. Additionally, doing so will void your warranty.

Q4. How do I connect speakers to the AD300.2?

A4. First, you will want to verify that the impedance of the speakers is 2 Ohms or above. Make sure to install the desired speakers if they are not already installed. After that, route and connect the speaker wires from each speaker of your system to the corresponding speaker output terminal on the amplifier's wiring harness. Failure to connect them properly may damage your speakers.
