How to add a device to your Aquatic AV account.

Adding a device and creating an account for the first time via the Aquatic AV App:


  1. To begin creating your own Aquatic AV account via the app, simply click "Create An Account" from the launch screen on your phone.

2. After clicking or tapping "Create an Account", you will be asked to fill in your name, e-mail address, and desired password. This ensures we can respond to any inquiries you send our way and that only you can access your account. Tap "Next" when complete.

3. Fill in your address and phone number so that we can reach you regarding your product, respond to any inquiries you send our way, and locate support in your area. Rest assured that we will never spam you or sell your data. We know privacy is important to you - it's important to us too. Tap "Next" when complete.

4. Peruse the categories of Aquatic AV devices and select the category to which your device belongs. Tap "Next" when complete.

5. After selecting a product category you will be presented with a collection of devices that fall into that category. Select your product from the list of compatible devices to begin registration. Tap "Next" when complete.

6. Choose a name for the device you want to add and type it into the box. You can name the device whatever you want, just make sure it's something you'll remember to make device management as easy as possible within the app and/or your account. Some examples may include "Bob's RGB Controller" or "Super Cool Boat Speaker". Tap "Next" when complete.

7. Registering your device adds 90 days to your existing warranty and is a great way to get the most out of your Aquatic AV experience. To finish adding and registering your device in your Aquatic AV account, type in your product's serial number, purchase location, purchase date, and a photo of your receipt. This information will be reviewed by the Aquatic AV support team and approved as soon as possible to confirm that your product is registered! Tap "Next" when complete. You can confirm the addition of this device to your account by returning to the "My Devices" page under “Account Settings” and “My Account”.

*The serial number for your product can typically be found on the box the device came in, but may also be on the chassis or back plate if applicable to your product. If you still cannot locate your device's serial number, please reach out to the Aquatic AV Customer Support.

8. To set up RGB Control for compatible Aquatic AV devices, you will first need to connect the app to the device via Bluetooth.

First, go to your phone's settings and make sure your Bluetooth is turned on, then power up your Aquatic AV device. In your phone's Bluetooth connections menu, find and then tap "AAV RGB".

The app should automatically recognize your device, and if powered on should show as "connected". At this point the device is paired with your phone, allowing you to use the app to control lighting functions such as customizable colors, light modes, and more.

Adding a Device to an Existing Account Using the App


  1. Tap the "Settings" icon shaped like a gear on the bottom right-hand corner of the app.

  2. Tap "My Account".

  3. Tap "My Devices".

  4. Tap "+ Add New Device" in blue.

  5. Select the category your device belongs to, then tap “Next” at the bottom righthand side of the screen.

  6. Select your device, then tap “Next” again.

  7. Name your device, then tap “Next”.

  8. Enter the serial number, purchase location, and purchase date of the device to register it for a 90-day warranty extension. You will also need to attach a receipt, but this can be sent through chat later if you do not have access to it now. When you finish filling out the information this screen, tap “Next”.

  9. You can confirm the addition of this device to your account by returning to the "My Devices" page under “Account Settings” and “My Account”.
