How to connect your RGB device from your existing Aquatic AV app:

Bluetooth connection between your RGB Controller and app should be automatic if you have already registered the device in your Aquatic AV account. Creating an Aquatic AV account also gives you access to RGB benefits including up to 25 saved color favorites and more.

*If connection is not automatic, see section How can I check the Bluetooth connection status? below.

How to connect to your RGB device without an account:

To use your RGB Controller without an Aquatic AV account, first download the Aquatic AV App and tap "RGB Mode Only" at the bottom of the login screen.

Make sure your phone's Bluetooth function is turned on and your Aquatic AV device is powered on before looking for a device called "RGB_LED" in your available devices list. Tap this device name to connect.

Next, in the Aquatic AV App tap the gear icon to go to settings and tap Nearby Devices to check your connection status.

Once connected you will be able to manipulate your RGB device from the app but will only be able to save 5 color favorites. These will not sync with other devices unless you create an Aquatic AV account.

How can I check the Bluetooth connection status?

First, click the Settings icon shaped like a gear on the lower righthand side of the app. From there, click My Account, then My Devices.

Next, check for a green circle to the right of or below your RGB Controller in My Devices. A green circle and the word "Connected" will confirm that your Bluetooth is connected to the device so that you can begin to control it. If the device is not connected, tap the gray circle that says "Not Connected", then tap it again on the next page, then follow the on-screen Bluetooth instructions as follows:

  • Go to your phone's Bluetooth menu

  • Look for RGB_LED in My Devices and Other Devices. When you find it, tap to pair.

  • Return to the app and check for the green circle and the word "Connected". Once connected, you can begin using the color wheel and various light modes to control your RGB device.

*If you are still unable to pair your phone to your RGB controller, tap Support to chat live with a customer support agent during business hours.

How does the Aquatic AV App work with the RGB controller?

Connecting the RGB Controller

To customize any of our RGB audio devices, it's important to note that you must first connect it with one of our RGB Controllers. When pairing with the Aquatic AV app, it is the RGB Controller itself that will be paired via Bluetooth in the app. Make sure your phone's Bluetooth function is turned on and the device is powered up before looking for a device called "RGB_LED" in your available devices list. Tap this device name to connect.

Once your RGB device is powered on and shows that it is connected to the Aquatic AV app, you will need to go to the app and tap the Lightbulb icon OR tap RGB Mode Only at the bottom of the login screen. From here you will be able to change the color of your device, save favorites, and try out a variety of light-changing modes to suit your tastes.

Adjusting Colors

To adjust the color of your RGB device, you can use the color wheel, circle, or square and/or hex code option found under the "Adjust" tab on the lighting/RGB Mode page. Use these color adjusters by dragging a finger across the wheel/circle/square until the desired color is reached. Use the "Brightness" slider below the color wheel to brighten or dim your lights.

You can also choose from five popular preset favorites provided by Aquatic AV and located below the Brightness bar if you don't want to pick a color on your own. If you are using your Aquatic AV account, you can also save favorites of your own to return to at another time. Finally, by tapping "Modes" at the top of the screen you can also choose from a variety of color-changing modes to keep the party fresh.

Saving Your Favorites

From the "Lights" tab, you can find and save the color of your choice by using the color wheel/circle/square/hex code and then tapping the heart symbol to save that color to your favorites for easy access in the future.

If you are using your Aquatic AV account to control your RGB device, you can save up to 25 favorite colors. Those who do not have an Aquatic AV account and only use RGB Mode from the app's login page can only save 5 favorites and these will not synch with other devices. Favorites can be removed at any time by selecting the color you want to delete then tapping the minus symbol at the top of the page.

Color Modes

Color modes are a fun way to customize your device displays. From the "Lights" tab, select "Modes". Our App offers 15+ multi-color changing modes for you to pick from. Some of these modes include pulsating single colors, pulsating multi-color, strobe options, and more. You can also control the speed of the color changes in these modes by using the "Speed" bar located at the bottom and dragging the slider left or right to slow down or speed up the color change.
